As part of our Erasmus+ K210 SCH Small-Scale Partnerships in School Education Project, titled An Essential Digital Competency: AI Literacy (Project Number: 2024-1-IT02-KA210-SCH-000243964), we successfully held the virtual mobility event Sectors Benefiting from AI online.
Teachers and students from Türkiye, Italy, Spain, and Germany, along with experts from various sectors, came together to share knowledge on how artificial intelligence technologies are being utilized across different fields.
Vedat Arslan, Industry 4.0 Project Manager at Bosch Siemens Home Appliances Türkiye, participated in the event and provided valuable insights into the use of AI in manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics. Additionally, Technical Engineer and Gamification Specialist Sergia Vegas from the Spain-based company Onesia evaluated how AI is shaping various industries and its impact on the future of companies.
Throughout the event, participating teachers and students gave presentations and exchanged ideas on AI applications in numerous sectors, including defense, aviation, oil and gas, renewable energy, banking, finance, transportation, construction, entertainment, media, healthcare, life sciences, agriculture, and education.
This international event not only provided participants with a significant perspective on the impact of AI across industries but also enabled teachers and students from different countries to connect within a shared framework.
At the end of the event, participants expressed that they had the opportunity to closely observe the transformation in various sectors and gained awareness of AI technologies.
