As part of the Erasmus+ KA210 SCH Small-Scale Partnerships in School Education Project titled “An Essential Digital Competency: AI Literacy” (Project No: 2024-1-IT02-KA210-SCH-000243964), we, as Gümüşyaka Anadolu High School, had the honor of hosting teachers and students from our partner schools in Spain, Germany, and Italy during the Turkey mobility event focused on Education and Artificial Intelligence.
Within the scope of the project activities, we visited Bahçeşehir University, where Dr. Meltem Özmutlu, an academician, delivered a presentation on “Education and Artificial Intelligence” to the participating teachers and students. Following the presentation, a workshop on AI applications in education was conducted. Through this experience, participants gained new perspectives and a vision for the effective integration of rapidly evolving AI technologies into education.
Additionally, as part of our Education and Artificial Intelligence activities, we held discussions and presentations on educational AI tools that teachers and students can use, as well as AI solutions that can support disadvantaged student groups.
As for cultural activities, we organized a tour of Istanbul’s Historic Peninsula, a visit to Dolmabahçe Palace, and a Bosphorus cruise. To help participant students gain deeper insights into our culture and to foster interaction among students, we also arranged various events and musical performances at our school.
Erasmus+ projects enhance the effectiveness of project activities through international collaborations, providing participant countries with the opportunity to closely explore each other’s history, culture, and arts. Beyond this cultural diversity and richness, these projects build bridges of friendship among teachers and students, bringing us even closer together.
We extend our gratitude to all the teachers and students from our partner schools who participated in this event. It was a great honor to host you at our school and in our city.
